Right in the heart of Brighton, a tall, elegant regency townhouse gazes across the iconic West Pier. Behind its traditional facade, a mini revolution is taking place; drawing in Brighton’s youngest and freshest local creative culture. Unpretentious and unforced, the anti-style is slowly forming, as artists come and go drawing on doors and walls as they please. Traditional, conceptual and sometimes downright absurd artwork is combined to create a totally unique atmosphere. Rooms are decorated in a bohemian and eclectic style perhaps not to everyone’s taste. Those with a sense of adventure will find the weird and wonderful quirk charming and fascinating. The onsite gallery is a non-profit organization run by local young artists giving them the opportunity to channel their creativity in a dynamic environment. |
